Following the success of my
cloning experiment, I had several tomato plants with no real place to plant them. Then a heat wave struck and killed off everything in bins 2 and 3. So it was natural to plant some cloned tomato plants there. Here's a current look to the right side.

That's a total of 10 tomato plants on this side so far |
The left side I am going to be putting in an upgraded drawer to replace the desk drawers. I will be working on making it
sub-irrigated this week. I do not know what I should plant it in yet. I would put 4 tomato plants in there, but I only have 2 ready for transplanting at the moment. I need a total of 10 more tomato plant cuttings to fill the last 2 bins (3 sisters bin and new drawer). Other options I have include zucchini, Swiss chard, eggplant, pepper or another summer crop. If anyone has a suggestion, feel free to share your idea.
From earlier this week too, I had a small cherry tomato harvest, my first ones. Compared to the tomatoes from the plant I got from campus for free, these are not as sweet, but they are very savory and slightly larger.

Stay tuned to see what I end up planting outside.
