Coffee

Announcement post
New at Greens and Machines: Coffee Roasting. There are many guides on the web on how to roast your own coffee, and I will be exploring several to see what works.

In general, coffee is roasted until it cracks, where it audibly pops and gives off a bunch of smoke. It goes through two states of cracks, and the roast time affects the flavor and quality. It it then cooled using a colander, and allowed to degas for anywhere from 4 to 24 hours, before being ground and brewed. If you venture into roasting your own coffee, experiment and see what works best for you.
